Encaustic Circle Newsletter - November Circle

here's a quick reminder of the November Circle, taking place next Monday, November 2 from 1 - 4 PM at Leir House in Penticton.The
Circle Meetings are a means to meet with other Encausticer, try out new
techniques, learn from each other, chat, exchange ideas etc. Everybody
brings their own equipment and waxes.
I will help and give advice,
but this is not a class. I will carry some supplies and waxes. If you
need something special, please inform me beforehand.
If
you do not have your own equipment yet, you can still come and rent
from me for $5.00. However, if attendance is high, preference will be
given to those who bring their own iron + waxes. All levels are welcome in the Circles, but you do have to sign up!Email me at info@encaustic.ca or call 250-497-5163. Costs: $7.00 per person Add $5.00 if you do not bring your own equipment. |
Circle Bonus: How to decorate a candle/work with stickers

Sometimes I show a special technique in a Circle Meeting, which you might have missed or forgotten from other workshops. This time I will demonstrate how to decorate a plain candle with Encaustic waxes and magic powders. They make great gifts. Bring your own candle(s), if you would like to try it, I'll also do a demo on how to work with the outline stickers to create unique Christmas cards. Space is limited in the Circles, so sign up quickly! |
